But now when I talked to homeschoolers I came to know that they have skipped the idea of grading to their children because according to them, they just want their kids to learn the idea or concept of any specific topic and when the kids will learn it, they can move forward with other subjects. They think that grading doesn&#8217;t matter for them. But sometimes parents do grade the children when there are some valid reasons. For Example, many places want the grade of the kids to get student discounts, and children also love to get grades because it increases their motivation.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"homeschool_grading_chart\"><\/span>Homeschool grading chart<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can check the grades of the kids by gathering up all the assignments and tests and just adding them together, you can grade your children. We have realized that grading is very important. If your kid has done his\/her best you can give A+ or A. And if you think they still need to improve you can consider not grading and asking them to correct the mistakes. What parents do is for the best. You can also get a grading chart from the market and can write down everything and at the end of the month, you can calculate it and give the total grade.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"the_online_grading_system_for_homeschool\"><\/span>The online grading system for homeschool<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The parents can also have an online grade book for the kids. Thinkwave is an online grade book by which you can be on track about the grading of your kids. Jumprope is another app that is free and has grading and an assessment and feedback. Both the apps are good and you can go for these.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what_kind_of_homeschool_grade_should_you_give\"><\/span>What kind of homeschool grade should you give?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Some parents love to give full credit to their children and some parents do not give full credit. For example, in the subject of math, parents can provide their kids with two chances. If they have a correction in the first attempt and if they correct it in the second attempt, they will get full credit. Some parents don&#8217;t find it enough, so they prefer to give only one chance and ask the kid to amend the mistakes they have made.<\/p>\n<p>It can not only happen with the kids, sometimes we as a person also grade our performance. For Example, when we are working in a kitchen or in how much time do we complete a task. In all these ways we help ourselves by giving grades. Or sometimes we ask others to grade us. For the kids, you can also go with <strong>pass\/fail<\/strong> or <strong>need<\/strong> <strong>improvement\/satisfaction<\/strong>. It will help them to learn where they need to enrich themselves.<\/p>\n<p>You can also start giving grades on the level of work the kid will be doing. For example, if the kid has been working on something big with full dedication and devotion, then the kid surely deserves an A. But if he hasn&#8217;t worked that hard on the topic or subject then you can go with a B.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what_should_you_grade_for_the_kids\"><\/span>What should you grade for the kids?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can use the tool called rubrics and the students will get to know how they must work for the assignment as rubrics makes it clear on which topic the student needs to focus on more.
