Broken crayon bits, stubby coloured pencil nubs, eraser-less pencils, half-filled notebooks, and odd sheets of loose-leaf paper can be found everywhere. What do you do with all of the extra homeschool supplies at the conclusion of the school year? Check Your Non-Consumable Supplies for Next Year<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You spend a substantial amount of money on rulers, scissors, pencil cases, and sharpeners. Before they wear out, these non-consumable resources normally last a few years (or disappear with the mismatched single socks).<\/p>\n<p>Non-consumables that don&#8217;t disappear ultimately break. Or, in the instance of your child&#8217;s ruler, the marks have gradually worn away over the years. Cull through those non-consumable school supplies at the end of the school year. Make a list of the ones that need to be replaced and put the rest away until the following school year.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_recycle_paper\"><\/span>2. Recycle Paper<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Remove any remaining supplies that can be reused the next school year. This means you may put all of your unused notebooks, loose-leaf papers, and lab books together. As a result, set aside all unused notebooks, loose-leaf sheets, unopened pencil packets, and lab notebooks until another school year. Make Journals<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Do you recall those half-used notebooks you set away earlier? You can use them to make journals for your kids. Your children can write about their family vacation, summer camp, or places they desire to visit in their journals. Use your imagination if journals aren&#8217;t appealing to your children. Make address books for them to use when writing letters to relatives and friends. Allow your children to repurpose old notebooks into short stories, graphic novels, or art diaries.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_crayon_candles\"><\/span>4. They&#8217;re simple to make and are a great way to utilise up those broken crayons that your kids bring home this summer. You may make these in whatever colours you have on hand, and you can also make them layered. If your kids have a lot of graded papers that you&#8217;re about to trash away, turn them into the recycled paper instead. This may be a lengthy process, but having the ability to tell people that you produce your own paper is well worth it.
